Essex Ocean Marine was established in 1997 and has seen significant growth since its inception. This department entertains all classes of ocean marine with a specialty in marine general liability, marina operators, vessel repair and boat sales. Property and inland marine risks can be included as part of a marine package policy. Ocean cargo is also a desired class whether on an open policy or single shipment basis and coverage for equipment overseas can be included when part of an ocean or air movement. We like hard-to-place, new in business and unusual or difficult risks standard markets reject.
