The goal of the producer automation department is to assist the agent in making it easier to do business with Essex. Currently this department supports the Essex Form Library on three automated systems. Essex provides the following 3rd party vendors the forms necessary for the producer to issue an Essex Insurance Company policy. Essex does not use these systems for the company's own policy issuance purposes, and therefore will refer any technical customer service questions directly to the vendor.

Lines of business: Property, Casualty, Package and Inland Marine-all declaration pages, supplemental declaration pages, and manuscript endorsements for each of these lines are included on the library effective 6/13/2000. Ocean Marine Declaration page and supplemental declaration page is also included. Library includes 76 of the most commonly used ISO forms for Property and Casualty only.

Lines of business: Property and Casualty declaration pages, supplemental declaration pages, and manuscript endorsements are included in this library effective 2/2000. Library can also be customized to fit the producer's needs by adding any specific ISO forms that are required.
In addition to the 2 vendor libraries listed above, Essex will also provide all of the property, casualty, inland and ocean marine forms in Word '97 to their agents who issue these policies. ISO forms are not included as part of the Word diskettes, but may become part of the diskettes in the future.
The Producer Automation department is always looking for new projects to assist the agent in their policy issuance, but would also like to identify additional projects that would make it easier for the agent to do business with Essex Insurance Company.
